Since opening our doors in 2011, supporting our community has always been at the heart of what we do. We feel incredibly fortunate to live and work in such a special part of the world, and giving back is something we’ve always believed is simply part of our responsibility. Whether it’s supporting local clubs, charities, schools or community events, we’re proud to use our business as a platform to help whenever we can.
Some of the causes and initiatives we’ve proudly supported include The Good Friday Appeal, Movember, Levi’s 300km run for Geelong Mums, and the installation of the defibrillator outside our Barwon Heads office. We also recently revived the Sheepwash Classic fun run after a seven-year hiatus, raising over $20,000 for Barwon Heads Primary School.
In 2016, as our community focus evolved, we launched the Bellarine Life video series to help bring attention to the incredible people, causes, businesses and attractions that make the Bellarine so unique. So far, we’ve collaborated with and helped share the stories of around 50 local enterprises, championing their contributions to this great area.
We’ve been fortunate to support many local groups, clubs, charities and community initiatives in a variety of ways. In addition to the financial support, we also love donating our time, whether that’s assisting with charity auctions, volunteering our skills, or helping community events raise as much money and awareness as possible.
