Sheepwash Classic

Bellarine Property is proud to be the major sponsor of the Sheepwash Classic, a much-loved community fun run and walk taking place at the iconic Barwon Heads. With 1km, 4km and 8km course options, there’s something for every runner and walker — from young families taking on the short course to seasoned athletes tackling the full 8km.

The courses wind along the stunning river and coastal trails, taking in a scenic stretch of Ocean Grove beach on the 8km route. All events begin on soft sand, with participants covering around 1.5km between the Barwon Heads Bridge and Ocean Grove, offering breathtaking views along the way. Please note the sandy terrain means the course isn’t suitable for prams.

Held in conjunction with the Barwon Heads Primary School Easter Fair, the Sheepwash Classic is more than just a race — it’s a true community celebration, and every entry helps raise valuable funds for the school.
